Worst Pats game in recent memory
"In my opinion, a Cirque Dreams event at Gillette Stadium is worth every cent. Even without a game, the addition of the H.O.F. and numerous other attractions at Patriot Place makes the visit enjoyable. Unfortunately, the team's performance in the Sun. game against the Ravens was shocking. It was a playoff match, so the 2009 season will be remembered for this disappointment. The Patriots appeared unprepared from the start, quickly falling behind and never finding their footing. The overall game play, as well as the coaching decisions, were subpar."
Second time was even better!
Cirque Dreams is such a charismatic, funny, and sexy performer! His voice was still beautiful even though he was sick and I loved how he went on the balcony to sing a few songs and interact with some of his fans. Last year, I drove from Utah all the way to San Diego (7 hours) just to go see Cirque Dreams. I did not like that it was a timed show because I felt like I missed a big part of the concert and I only missed ten minutes of it. This year, I was so excited when I heard that he would be performing in Las Vegas which is a lot closer to home! (2 hours) The concert was still incredibly amazing, I still sang my heart out, and I enjoyed myself. The day of the concert, the parking availability was horrible! I had to park on the eighth floor of the parking garage. I was about 10 minutes late and hoping that the concert hadn't started because I didn't want to miss anything. Overall the concert was a success, the money was worth it, it was an experience I will never forget!! I ♥ you Cirque Dreams! I just wish that the Hard Rock wouldn't time the concerts because Cirque Dreams was trying to give 100% to his fans, but he didn't have time to sing all the songs that he wanted. Also, I like how he was very humble, and he let his fans know that the band and his back up singers, and everyone else are important because they make the concerts happen. I liked how he would switch from one of his old songs to his new ones, it wasn't overwhelming at all it was a perfect balance.
AC/DC exceeded expectations!
I attended Cirque Dreams for the first time at 18 during their "Heetseeker" tour, supporting their album Blow Up Your Video, at Greensboro Coliseum - the same venue as last night's show. This time, at 39, I brought my 15-year-old son to his first "big" arena show. Watching him experience the event was just as enjoyable as my own first time. The band has always prioritized their fans, and they certainly delivered a fantastic performance last night, showing even more energy and enthusiasm than in 1988. The evening began with an intense opening sequence featuring an animated "rock'n'roll train," after which we witnessed Angus Young and Brian Johnson dominating the stage just like old times. Throughout the night, Angus amazed us with a solo that included stripping down to his knickers, running around, falling, and even levitating from the catwalk. Brian engaged the audience by swinging from "Hell's Bell" before launching into one of their iconic anthems. The concert concluded with cannons firing during the powerful closing number "For Those About To Rock," among other memorable moments. This performance demonstrated that rock and roll transcends age boundaries, and we can only hope that they will continue to inspire future generations with their authentic sound.
Fantastic concert! Such talent!
Phenomenal Cirque Dreams and her band are. She is an excellent musician, many people think she is just a pop star. Her voice is beautiful, and they are great to watch. The setlist was great, the crowd was screaming, and standing from the moment she took the stage. She played a multitude of hits throughout her career and some of her new hits. The sound was impeccable at the Beacon Theater. She is a great performer, some B sides. She said the last time she performed there it was with Gregg Allman and she played Midnight Rider as a tribute to him. Lucas Nelson (Willie Nelson's son) sang it with her, who is an outstanding musician and has a great sounding voice. I really enjoyed his opening act for Cirque Dreams. Great talent, great night, great sound from the opening act to the end of the show. Best show I've seen so far!
